• Test Lab Management

Plan and control your testing activities and resources

DIN EN ISO /IEC 17025

DIN EN ISO /IEC 17025 is the main standard specifying the general requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of laboratories. Its main aim is to promote confidence in the operations of laboratories by ensuring that they are technically proficient and able to produce valid and reliable results.

To become DIN EN ISO /IEC 17025 compliant it requires you to standardize and enhance your testing process. Below we summarize the areas where PeakTMS can help you to become DIN EN ISO /IEC 17025 compliant:

Structural requirements (chapter 5):

Peak TMS helps your test department to describe different roles and responsibilities and combine those with functional rights and data access in the system.

Resource Management Requirements (chapter 6):

Peak TMS enables the definition of qualifications and the assignment of laboratory personnel. The qualifications can later be validated against the required minimum qualifications in tests. In addition, PeakTMS guarantees a sufficiently detailed description of your facility's resources, including documentation of certificates, calibration and calibration factors. Different templates for different test equipment ensure that each type of device and system can be described in the best possible way.

Requirements for test processes (chapter 7)

Peak TMS helps with the description, verification and archiving of test orders, including the history of all changes. Different inspection test types require different descriptions. The PeakTMS notification system makes it possible to inform customers and other stakeholders immediately about significant changes. New test types and cycles can be described and necessary certifications can be ensured and documented before they are applied to tests. It enables the generation of unique identifiers for measurement devices and the allocation of all necessary resources to tests. For each device, it is possible to track which measurements it has taken part in and vice versa. The execution of tests including test results and test reports can be well described in the PeakTMS test descriptions. The function- and role-based authorization concept of PeakTMS ensures that only authorized and qualified team members can create and save test reports, add expert opinions or release test results.

For complaint management (section 7.9), Peak TMS enables the definition of complaint templates and their processing. Stakeholders can be automatically informed about the progress and outcome of active complaints.

PeakTMS can therefore play a central role in the information management landscape (chapter 7.11) of your test department.
